Light and Shadow Performance

Don’t miss dance: made in canada / fait au canada Festival’s first off-year performance this August!

Our first off-year event is ‘Light and Shadow’, a platform for dialogue between Light and Choreography. Lighting Designer, Arun Srinivasan will facilitate two evening workshops for professional dance artists that focus on lighting design for contemporary dance. The workshops will culminate in a performance on Saturday, August 16th.

That evening, a work by Peggy Baker Dance Projects will be staged with two distinct lighting designs. Also included on the program will be performances by Alias Dance Projects (Triptych part 2), Iryna Gordon (Silencio) and Pamela Briz and Alison MacDonald.
