Janelle has stage-managed for over 35 dance companies and independent choreographers including the National Ballet of Canada, Dancetheatre David Earle, Danny Grossman Dance Company, tiger princess dance projects and Peggy Baker. She has toured Malaysia & Singapore with the Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre as well as across Canada with Kaeja d’Dance. In the realm of theatre, Janelle has had the pleasure of working with Theatre & Company (Kitchener), Theatre Cambridge and the Globe Theatre (Regina). Her past production management clients were ProArte Danza, Le Théâtre français de Toronto, DanceWorks (Toronto) and the Magnetic North Theatre Festival. She is currently the Production Manager and teaches at the University of Waterloo’s Theatre Department. In her spare time, Janelle co-Directs the “S.M.Arts Conference” with Winston Morgan, an annual conference for and about stage management and sits on the SM Committee for Canadian Actors’ Equity Association. But her favourite project thus far has been her son, Hunter.
