As things started to close in around us, our technologies kept us company, and the current relationship I had with my phone started to turn in to something new. It became my video camera – documenting random moments, movements, and thoughts. It became an outlet for my boredom – another entity to trade skills with when I was craving making something out of nothing. I started to discover new areas of my home and neighbourhoods – wondering which nooks and crannies I could move my body around in. This device helped me dive into the feeling of randomness, and as I followed the impulses I started to discover different versions of myself. This current version is extremely interested in filming movement, developing skills to edit and document the movement, and sharing these little snippets. ’14’ is one of those snippets.
